-
Why should I get Micro-Channeling?This non-invasive cosmetic service is designed to enhance your facial treatment by encouraging increased product absorption and skin refinement.
-
What are the benefits of Micro-Channeling?This ergonomic tool enhances product absorption to create visible and instant results by firming and refreshing. RevitaPen Pro creates micro-channels that allow active ingredients to be driven deeper into the skin. The combined effect from the active ingredients and stimulation from the tool will improve circulation, soften fine lines, reduce scarring, improve hydration levels, and control breakouts.
-
Is there downtime with the Micro-Channeling treatment? There is no downtime required. Redness may be apparent for a short time due to increased circulation, products used during treatment, how many passes over the skin are made, or how aggressive the treatment was, but it will subside within a few hours. You should avoid using products with high concentrations of enzymes, acids, or retinoids after the treatment.
-
Is Micro-Channeling sterile?Yes, a new tip is used with each treatment. The tips are individually sealed to ensure sanitization.
-
What is the tip made out of?The tip is made from stainless surgical steel with conical tips that create micro-channels in the skin. This size of the tip is 8mm in diameter with 100 nano-spheres on the top of each sphere, and .015mm tall.
-
How is this different from dermarolling or microneedling? This is a noninvasive procedure that will not create a wound, damage the skin or create inflammation in the skin. There is minimal to no discomfort and downtime following a treatment.
-
What should I expect after a vitamin A peel?Facial Infusion | Aftercare Expectations DAY 1-2 You may experience tightness, dryness, flaking, and slight skin discoloration (discoloration due to high amounts of Beta Carotene), which are all normal. Cleanse your skin with a very mild cleanser including Cleanse, Lift Away or Purify. The treatment is still successful if you do not experience any of these symptoms. Please stay out of direct sun exposure and continue the use of Protect SPF 30. Please do NOT use any products with Retinaldehyde or exfoliants. DAY 3 The skin can gradually become drier and tighter. This is normal and sloughing of the skin may begin. Hydrate with a moisturizer including Hydrate, Quench, Immerse, Nourish or Enrich and continue the use of Protect SPF 30. Remedy may also be used as a healing mask. Please do NOT use any products with Retinaldehyde or exfoliants. DAY 4-7 The skin MAY slough, which is normal and may last up to 7 days. Continue use of gentle products (Lift Away, Cleanse, Remedy, Hydrate, Quench, Immerse, Nourish or Enrich and Protect SPF 30). The skin has finished exfoliating once sloughing has subsided and the skin has normalized. FOR THE FIRST WEEK POST TREATMENT YOU SHOULD NOT: Exfoliate or wax until your skin has normalized. Spend a prolonged time in the sun, and when in the sun use Protect SPF 30. NOTE: You may continue the use of Polish and Vitamin A Serums with Retinaldehyde as soon as stinging has subsided and the skin has normalized. • NEVER pick, peel, scrape or scratch your skin - it may cause scarring and reveal skin that is not yet ready to come to the surface.
-
Are Osmosis products gluten-free and vegan? Most of our products are vegan and gluten-free. Please check individual products for specific ingredient information.
-
Which products are Oncology Friendly? The majority of our MD, Skincare, and Colour products are Oncology Friendly. The recommendation and use of these products should be done by trained professionals in Oncology Skincare to ensure safe and effective use. Some products may not be recommended for certain types of cancer or during certain stages.
-
Do you test your products on animals? We do NOT test on animals or endorse such practices.
-
Can you use Osmosis while pregnant? While pregnant or breastfeeding, you may use all of the Osmosis products with the exception of Elevate, Skin Clarifier and Skin Defense.
-
What is the difference between Immerse and Nourish?Immerse's primary oil is Emu Oil which is richer and heavier than Nourish, making it great for massages and promoting wound healing. Nourish's main ingredient is frequency-enhanced organic avocado oil to harmonize, heal, and regenerate (like our Elixirs). This makes it very unique! Nourish is a lighter oil and can even be used under makeup or as a daily moisturizer for overly dry, dehydrated skin.
-

Are Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, and Propanediol bad for you? These are ingredients that are sometimes confused. Pentylene Glycol, found in our Vitamin A treatment serums, is derived from coconut, though ours is bio- identically made. It is non-toxic and not harmful. Zemea (Propanediol), found in Catalyst AC-11, is corn-derived and has received the ECOCERT seal. It is non-toxic and not harmful. Our bio-identical form of Butylene Glycol used in our Refresh Revitalizing Eye Cream is the same form found in cocoa butter and the roots of the Common Rue plant. Both Pentylene Glycol and Propanediol are humectants, helping the skin to retain moisture.
-
What form of phosphatidylcholine (PC) do you use in your skincare formulations, Native PC or Hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine (PC-H)?There are usually 2 types of PC used in skincare: pure, native PC (PC), and Hydrogenated PC (PC-H). Both are used for very different things. PC is used for its liposomal, transdermal delivery properties. When you hydrogenate PC, you remove that property. PC-H is used only for its highly emollient, moisturizing properties. We use PC-H in Quench and Refresh. But all the "delivery system" products (Correct, Renew, Clarify, Replenish, StemFactor, and Facial Infusion), all have PURE PC to ensure adequate delivery. Our supplier also indicated that most, if not all, of the allergenic soy proteins, are removed from PC, so people who have soy allergies are not usually affected by topical PC.
-
What is the source of your Hyaluronic Acid?Glucose is the source of our Hyaluronic Acid and is gluten-free, vegan, and is not tested on animals. We also believe in high molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid because it minimizes its potential to be an irritant to the skin.
-
Do you use benzyl alcohol in your products?Benzyl alcohol is used in small amounts as part of a preservative that meets Ecocert standards and is NaTrue certified. This ingredient is often used to dissolve other ingredients to get them into the formulation and evaporates during that process. Due to the source, method, and amounts used, it is not drying or harmful to the skin in any way.
-
Why do you use Sodium Hydroxide in some of your products?Sodium Hydroxide is a pH adjuster that improves consistency. It is an antioxidant that is not harmful to the skin. Since this is a potent molecule, it is used in very small amounts. Reports found in EWG or elsewhere suggesting that it is an irritant are describing a 100% solution of Sodium Hydroxide.
-
What is the shelf life of your skincare products? Each formulation is tested through a Quality Control process that consists of monitoring the product's efficacy and expiration date. The Skincare and Wellness products have a 24+ month shelf life except for Rescue & Immune Activator, which have an 18 month shelf life.
-
Do you use sustainable palm oil?Yes, we use sustainable palm oil in our skincare products.
-
Why is dimethicone used in some products? We use a small amount of dimethicone in one product, Catalyst AC-11. Dimethicone is not harmful to the skin in small amounts (1.5%) because it is too large of a molecule to penetrate the skin. However, in amounts above 5%, it can become occlusive to the skin and is not advised. We have to use a slip agent in Catalyst AC- 11 because the patented, highly active components in this product are VERY sticky.
-
What is liposomal delivery and how does it work?Osmosis has revolutionized skincare by delivering ingredients into the deep layers of the skin. By coating our ingredients with a liposome called phosphatidylcholine, product penetration is increased by 600%. This liposome shares the same properties with all of our 'coated' cells. When used to coat ingredients, it naturally enhances penetration into the cell as well as protects it during the liposome delivery.
-
Do I really need an Activating Mist with Osmosis serums? Our Activating Mists have multiple functions; they have been treated with unique anti-bacterial and anti-fungal frequencies that maintain a healthy probiotic population on the skin. They have also been treated with frequencies that are designed to activate repair as well as being calming, and they have unique active ingredients to promote rejuvenation and energize the skin.
-
Where do your stem cells come from? Our stem cells come from carefully screened adult adipose tissue. There are no actual stem cells in StemFactor, just the growth factors they make.
-
How are your Vitamin A Serums safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding? The acceptable range of Vitamin A while pregnant is 2,500 - 10,000 IU (international units) per/day and 4,000 - 15,000 IU while breastfeeding. When using Osmosis Active A Serums, you will not exceed 300 IU per/day even if using the strongest serum available at 2 pumps 2 times per day. Our Facial Infusion treatment is also safe to receive while pregnant or breastfeeding as it does not exceed 1,500 IU of Vitamin A. Of course, it is always recommended to consult with your physician while pregnant or breastfeeding before the use of any active products or supplements.
-
Why is it so important to have balance in our bodies (including physical health, mental health, and digestive/gut health)? Our bodies are designed with very precise hormone levels that are specific to each individual. These hormones are monitored and adjusted throughout the day to keep the cells, organs, and mind functioning at optimum levels. Taking hormones to try and manage this is flawed because you can never know exactly what the body needs and they cause the body to make lower amounts of their normal daily production. The ideal scenario is to maximize the body's innate potential to produce and regulate hormones themselves. Skin Defense, Collagen Activator, and Hormone Relief Elixir can do exactly that. DIM, a primary ingredient in Skin Defense, binds estrogenic toxins that lower the body's estrogen level and cause an imbalance with all hormone systems all systems. By binding the toxins, the body normalizes its levels and finds balance. Collagen Activator accelerates the ATP process which results in more hormone production. Hormone Relief Elixir gives the body the sensation of having balanced hormones without interfering with the natural production levels of hormones. The result is a balanced, healthy system that operates under the guidance of the body's remarkable, innate brilliance.
-
What if I am not experiencing one of the conditions listed in the Elixirs, how will it affect my body?It won't affect them as the frequencies only target imbalances in the body and the body ignores the rest. None of the frequencies are harmful. The Elixirs are safe for all ages and there are no side effects.
-
Are there any environmental conditions in which I should not store my Elixir? If your Elixirs is delivered in the cold of winter and is frozen upon arrival, it is still good to use once it thaws. Some heat is okay, but since it is stored in plastic, extended heat is not advised. Do not put the Elixirs in alkalinized water or drink them at the same time, as it will disable it.
-
Will Hormone Relief affect my birth control? It will not make them ineffective. A small minority of clients may experience some menstrual changes that may make it slightly lighter or heavier than normal.
-
Why were minerals added to the Elixirs?America is mineral deficient because of our farming methods and soil depletion. Our minerals are particularly beneficial because of their remarkable bio-availability. This is due to the fulvic acid, the hydrogen attached to them that acts as a carrier and stabilizer, and the minerals are 100,000 times smaller than other sources. By taking these minerals, your body will perform better. In addition, these minerals are also put into our proprietary frequency generating device so that any frequency imparted on them resonates longer within the body.
-
Is gold safe to ingest? Where is the gold sourced?Yes it is safe. We use edible gold from a reliable source, mined in the U.S.
-
How do I use Immune Activator?Immune Activator can be used topically if one finds the oil-based version of our ozonized ethyl oleate to be more soothing. It is primarily used as an internal elixir to boost our oxygen fighting capacity which often diminishes with aging. It can be taken sublingually by leaving in the mouth for 5-10 minutes or it can be swallowed. However, if you choose to swallow it, it should be on an empty stomach. Liquids can disable it.
-
Is there UV protection in the Pressed Bases? Our Pressed Bases provide natural sun protection from the mineral formula. It delivers around 15 SPF depending on the amount of application.
-
Why should I get Micro-Channeling?This non-invasive cosmetic tool is designed to enhance the results of your treatments by encouraging increased product absorption and skin refinement. It is not classified as a medical device so licensed skincare professionals can incorporate it into their practice.

What is Brow Lamination?Eyebrow lamination is the latest beauty secret that will thicken and enhance your natural brows. Similar to the idea of a lash lift, brow lamination involves the application of a setting lotion that gives the brow hair a semi-permanent "brushed up" and lifted look. Whether you have thin, thick, or over-plucked eyebrows, brow laminating is the perfect solution to give you the everyday look you want, without effort.
-
Does Brow Lamination Hurt?Absolutely not! If you do feel any pain the treatment will be stopped immediately as this treatment is completely pain-free!
-
How do I prep for a Brow Lamination?Prior to your brow lamination appointment, we recommend the following: avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, or AHAs on your face for one week before your brow lamination. Avoid tweezing at least one week prior to your appointment (if you're interested, we do offer the option to add on a brow wax to your lamination appointment) Please come to your appointment without any brow makeup.
-
How do I care for my brows after Brow Lamination?Brow Lamination "Don'ts" in the First 48 Hours After Treatment:
-
How long does Brow Lamination last?A brow lamination will last about 6-8 weeks (again, depending on aftercare). Be sure to follow the "Don'ts" mentioned above in the first 48 hours following your treatment for longevity.
-
What if I have sparse brows?Brow lamination is a perfect service for sparse brows! Everyone wants fuller, thicker-looking brows, however, microblading isn't the best option for everyone, Brow Lamination is! The service makes the brows appear fuller, with sparse brows you'll be surprised how many hairs are actually there to help the brow lift! As you are seeing all these hairs, keep in mind that once they are tinted they will appear even fuller and thicker!
-
Can I get Brow Lamination over my Microbladed brows?Absolutely! Brow Lamination is a perfect service for someone who has healed microbladed eyebrows. You want to be sure the brows are healed and haven't been microbladed in the last 8 weeks. You will also want to be sure that you won't be getting a touch-up on their microblading for at least 6-8 weeks after the Brow Lift.
-
Can I get Brow Lamination if I am pregnant or nursing? The short answer is, no. Performing a brow lamination on a pregnant or breastfeeding mother is too much of a liability. If there were to be a reaction, the medications that may be advised to take most likely cannot be taken while pregnant.
-
What if my brows are crazy looking when I wake up?This can totally happen! During the brow lift, you are restructuring the hairs, as you sleep the brow hairs can move into different areas. Anyone who has ever had eyelash extensions knows this as well, every morning or anytime throughout the day they will need to be brushed into place! Brow and Lash Toxx is a great product to assist with styling your brows, every morning when you wake up you can brush this into your brows and they will be styled for the day!
-
Is Brow Lamination worth it?Yes, yes and YES! We are in love with the way this treatment makes your brows look. It is versatile in the sense that you can style your brows in various ways such as brushed up or brushed down. We are constantly amazed at how you can go from having thin, unsymmetrical brows to full, defined, fluffy brows without adding any hair! How this illusion happens is almost like magic and we are here for it!

Who is NOT a good candidate for waxing?- Anyone who has used Accutane in the last year. - If you are undergoing cancer therapy such as chemotherapy or radiation. - If you have a chronic condition like lupus, AIDS, or any other disease that may compromise the skin barrier. - Getting waxed any place you’ve recently gotten Botox or Collagen injections in the last 7 days. - If you have medical conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes, circulatory disorders, or hemophilia. -If you use any blood-thinning medications. If you are on antibiotics because of skin sensitivity you should discontinue 14 days prior to being waxed. - If you are nursing or pregnant. - If you have had a light chemical peel, dermabrasion, or any other resurfacing treatment you should wait at least 7 days or until you are done peeling. - If you have a sunburn. Sunburned, irritated, or areas with open skin cannot be waxed.
-
What to avoid before waxing?* Please read, who is NOT a good candidate for waxing. * - Avoid Retinol products for 72 hours. - Avoid using skin lightening creams. - Avoid sun exposure. - Avoid tanning beds 3-5 days before being waxed. - Avoiding caffeine for 5 hours before getting waxed will greatly reduce sensitivity. Caffeine restricts the blood vessels so skin is not getting as much blood flow which increases sensitivity. - If possible, avoid scheduling your appointment just before or during your menstrual cycle. This is only because we tend to be most sensitive during this time.
-
What should I do before a waxing treatment? Two days before you wax, you can gently exfoliate to remove dead skin cells that surround the hair follicles. Exfoliating helps loosen existing ingrown hairs and improves your waxing results. DO NOT use any harsh scrubs or acids. You can take an Ibuprofen 1 hour before will aid in reducing sensitivity and inflammation. The area should be clean before waxing.
-
What should and shouldn’t I do after a waxing treatment?- Avoid sun exposure. - Avoid excessive heat for at least 24-48 hours, this includes; sweating or working out, hot tubs and saunas. - Avoid tanning beds for at least 3 days. - Avoid wearing tight clothing on the area you were waxed. Avoid creams with fragrance. - Keep the area clean - DO NOT shave between waxing appointments. Waxing slows down and reduces hair growth. Hair also grows much thinner thus making it easier to remove and LESS painful when waxed. Shaving just one time in between will negate all that is gained from waxing and can further irritate follicles which can cause ingrown hair. - Avoid chlorinated pools.
-
What is a Brazilian wax?A Brazilian wax removes ALL the pubic hair from the front of the pubic bone, around the external genitals, between the upper thighs, and around the anus. Depending on your preferences, you can choose to remove all hair in the area or leave a small strip of hair in the front.
-
Should I trim the hairs? If your hair is longer than 1 inch you may need trimming prior to waxing however I do not recommend you do this yourself because you may cut the hair too short. No need to be embarrassed; Iv’e seen it all and want to make sure that I am in charge of all of your hair removal needs to get you onto the right track safely and effectively.
-
What should I do for aftercare? No saunas, sun exposure, hot tubs, tanning beds, creams with fragrance, steam rooms for 24-48 hours after any waxing.
-
How long does the hair need to be?Usually, we recommended that the ideal length of the hair to be waxed should be approximately 1/4-1⁄2 an inch.
-
How often should I get waxed?Every 3 to 6 weeks. Regular waxing is essential. The skin will be less sensitive if waxing is done regularly. A consistent waxing schedule can get hairs on the same page and ultimately makes for smoother, longer-lasting hair removal. If clients are shaving in-between sessions, they are more prone to hair breakage, ingrown hairs, and acne after waxing—and getting their growth patterns out of sync again.
